Sales Associates

Job Summary:

Join the Torrid team and help celebrate the beauty and confidence of every woman. As a Sales Associate, you will provide a welcoming and positive shopping experience for our customers, assist in achieving sales goals, and represent the Torrid brand with style and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Sales: Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs, offer product suggestions, and close sales.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Torrid products, including new arrivals and promotions.
• Store Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. This includes restocking merchandise, setting up displays, and keeping the store neat.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle returns/exchanges in accordance with company policy.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet and exceed store goals and ensure a cohesive team environment.
• Customer Loyalty: Promote and assist customers in signing up for the Torrid Insider Rewards program.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for fashion.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, move and handle merchandise, bend, and reach.
• Availability: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
